Faster Builds from the Page Itself

Scripts and automation builders often require you to switch between the page and a separate inspector panel. RTILA X removes some of that movement with context menu actions. When you right-click an element, a set of automation helpers appears alongside the normal browser menu, so you can capture what you need without leaving the page.

These helpers are intentionally small and focused. Instead of opening a full settings window for every detail, you select the one action you want and continue working. This keeps the building process quick while still producing the same reliable commands as the visual editor.

Common Context Menu Actions

The context menu includes actions that cover frequent preparation steps. You can copy a selector for the element you right-clicked, create a click command that targets that element, capture text content, or add the element to the current dataset. These actions appear only when RTILA X is active and recording is supported on the page.

For example, while building a product scraper, you can right-click the price element and choose “Add to dataset.” RTILA X creates a dataset field and associates the selector with the current row pattern. You repeat that action for the product name, image, and link, and your dataset structure is ready without opening the full builder.

Context Menus in the Chrome Extension

The Chrome extension extends this behavior directly into your browser. Once the extension is installed, right-clicking on supported pages provides RTILA X actions alongside the browser’s own menu items. That means you can build selector and command shortcuts during ordinary browsing sessions.

The extension’s context menu is especially useful when you are researching a site and want to capture a promising element immediately. You do not need to start a full recording first; you can grab the selector or text and import it into RTILA X later.

Combining Context Menu Actions with Recording

You can also use the context menu to start and stop recordings without returning to the desktop window. If a recording is active, context menu actions on captured elements can apply refinements before you save the final project.

This combination makes the build process feel continuous. You browse, right-click, capture selectors, record a short workflow, and finish a working automation without a long detour through complex menus. For new users, it provides a gentle on-ramp to the more advanced visual builder and command library.
