Using an external API for proxies is quite easy.
Set a quick project, targeting a site that can return your IP.

In this example, I set the URL: https://www.cual-es-mi-ip.net/
And I’ll grab returning IP to check if it’s changing on each request.
From project settings, enter the target URL several times:

Add your API key from PROXIES, External Proxy Rotation API.

In my sample, I’m using rocketscrape but you can use similar services.
Run the project and check the results.
